Tour Overview
Visit the Endangered Mountain Gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. This 3 day tour allows you to track the Mountain Gorillas in the thick Jungle of Bwindi in what many travelers call a “once in a lifetime experience”. You will also have an opportunity to Visit the local Batwa pygmy community or visit Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lake dotted with several islands, each with historical importance.

2 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK SAFARI
Day 1: Driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On our way to the park, we shall have a stopover at the Drum makers village, en-route Mbarara for our lunch and then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a 3’Oclock boat ride on the 36km Kazinga Channel.
Expect to spot lots of bird and animal species; that is the hippos, elephants, buffaloes and crocodiles. We shall return at 5:00 pm and continue for an hours evening visit to Lake katwe Tourism Center for a chance of sighting the Flamingos, salt mining center and the fishing village.
Dinner and overnight at the Simba Safari Camp (budget) or Elephant Hab Lodge / Park view safari lodg (mid-range)
Day 2: Morning game drive and driving back to Kampala
After our early morning breakfast or parked breakfast, we go for a morning game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, tree climbing lions, leopards, hyenas, warthogs and many more of the wildlife.
Next is checking out of the park and drive back to Kampala or at your chosen address, but expecting a stopover at the Uganda Equator.

3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour: Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Your tour guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala, very early in the morning to begin your trip to the Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park, home to half of the worlds endangered mountain Gorillas.
The drive from Kampala to Bwindi lasts for 8 hours, and you will therefore have several stopovers during the journey including a stopover at the equator where you will have an opportunity to take pictures and grab a few refreshments as well as African cratfs which you can obtain from the local craft shops before hitting the road again.
The next stop will be in Mbarara town where you will have a lunch break. The guide will take you to one of the tourist restaurants in the town, with options of you trying local or continental dishes for lunch. After lunch, embark on your journey once more, proceeding directly to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park and direct to your lodge where you will check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfast get your packed lunch and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be divided in groups of 8 and then head into the Bwindi forest to search for the mountain gorillas. It usually takes between 1– 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The activity is surely strenuous but then again fully rewarding on sight of the huge gorillas, you will be able to take pictures and observe their various characters as they feed play and relate. Your allowed a full hour with these creatures and thereafter head back to the park headquaters.
In the afternoon your will transfer to lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful lake dotted with several islands.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi Boat Cruise and Transfer back to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, head for a boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi in which you will visit several islands as you learn about the lake and the history of the people living in the area. Return to the hotel, pack up and then embark on the journey to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo cultural centre where you will have lunch and also take a mini-tour in the centre to know more about the Ankole culture. Then drive to Kampala it could be to the hotel or the airport in case you’re to catch your flight back.
