Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Johannesburg to Timbavati – Greater Kruger Safari Begins

Your Greater Kruger Safari starts with a morning transfer from OR Tambo International Airport to a bush pub near Kruger. After a scenic drive, you’ll be transferred to your lodge in Timbavati. Enjoy lunch and some leisure time before heading out on your first sunset game drive, stopping for sundowners in the wild. Dinner is served around the fire under the stars.

Days 2–4: Timbavati Game Reserve – Greater Kruger Park

Each day begins with early morning tea or coffee before embarking on a sunrise game drive. Look out for the Big Five and other iconic wildlife such as cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and African wild dogs. Enjoy hearty breakfasts on your return, followed by time to relax at the lodge. Afternoon high tea is followed by another game drive that transitions into a night safari. Optional bush walks can be arranged, offering deeper insights into the local ecosystem.
