Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, you are welcomed by a representative from Monumental Expeditions and Safaris and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city of Addis Ababa, which is nestled at the foot of the Entoto Mountains. Visit key sites such as the National Museum, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the bustling Merkato. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from Mount Entoto.

Day 2: Fly from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar (Lake Tana & Blue Nile Falls)
Today begins with a domestic flight to Bahir Dar, a scenic city on the shores of Lake Tana. After arrival, you will visit the Blue Nile Falls, known locally as Tis Abay, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit the ancient monasteries of Ura Kidane Mehret and Azwa Mariam, known for their colorful murals and historical artifacts.

Day 3: Bahir Dar to Gondar – Ethiopia
