Itinerary for this Tour
Day 1 to 3: Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport & Timbavati Private Nature Reserve – South Africa
Your Kruger & Mozambique Safari begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Simbavati River Lodge in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, located near the Kruger National Park. Check into your Double Luxury Tented Room and enjoy stunning views of the river or bush.
Embark on your first game drive in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, home to the Big Five, including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and elephants. In the evenings, dine under the stars around the campfire. Over the next two days, enjoy more game drives and optional bush walks for a closer look at the local wildlife.
Day 4 to 6: Hoedspruit to Maputo & Machangulo Beach Lodge – Mozambique
On Day 4, bid farewell to the Kruger area and fly to Maputo, Mozambique. From there, enjoy a scenic boat transfer to Machangulo Beach Lodge, nestled on the pristine Santa Maria Peninsula. Spend the next three days soaking up the sun, swimming, and enjoying activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing. Optional excursions include dhow sailing, whale watching, and visits to nearby cultural villages.

Day 7: Santa Maria (Machangulo) to Maputo & Johannesburg – South Africa
Your final day starts with a morning boat cruise back to Maputo. From Maputo Marina, a driver will transfer you to Maputo International Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg, marking the end of your Kruger & Mozambique Safari.
