Day 1: Windhoek & Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary
Welcome to your Namibia Lodge Safari! Upon arrival in Windhoek, you’ll be transferred to your centrally located hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary to observe rescued African predators and learn about their conservation efforts. Return to Windhoek for the night in a comfortable hotel with ensuite rooms, Wi-Fi, and a pool.

Day 2: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
After breakfast, drive north to Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations. Enter through the Anderson Gate and enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Halali Camp. Watch wildlife at the floodlit waterhole and enjoy a group dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Etosha Game Drive & Overnight Near Park
Explore Etosha further on an early morning game drive. Visit the Etosha Pan, Africa’s largest salt pan, and enjoy picnic stops and wildlife sightings throughout the day. After lunch and a rest at Halali, continue to Okaukuejo before exiting the park. Spend the evening at a nearby lodge and enjoy dinner around the campfire.

Day 4: Etosha Area to Swakopmund

Namib Desert Safari Accommodation
Our selected Namib Desert Safari Accommodation is located just 3 km outside the Namib Naukluft National Park, near Sesriem. This camp offers breathtaking views of the Naukluft Mountains and the vast, arid plains of the Namib Desert.
Each safari-style tent in the Namib Desert Camp features an en-suite bathroom, fans, a small balcony, and a personal braai area. These adobe-style tents are fitted with twin beds, a safe, and a sofa. High-quality linen is included, with additional bedding provided during colder months. Guests can enjoy a small pool, a bar, DSTV, and self-catering kitchens with alfresco dining areas where your meals are prepared by your guide. Sleeper couches are available for children under 12 years. This earthy desert lodge is considered equivalent to 3-star accommodation (with no official rating system in Namibia).
Alternative lodge options near Sesriem are located within 90 km of the Namib/Naukluft entrance at Sesriem, providing guests with a range of accommodation options in proximity to the park.

- 6 Seater: 4×4 land cruiser with a pop-top roof and individual forward-facing seats fitted with lap belts.
- 4 Seater: 4×4 station wagon with fitted seat belts and air-conditioning, ideal for small groups of 2 or 3 people (guaranteed window seat).
- 12 Seater: 2WD custom-built safari vehicle with large drop-slide windows and 12 forward-facing seats, offering excellent front vision. Equipped with lap belts, a pop-top roof, and an inverter for charging cameras, iPods, and cell phones. The vehicle also includes a USB port to play music on the stereo.
The specific tour vehicle used for each departure will be determined by the size of the safari group at the time of departure.
Namibia Safari Note
Note that this Namibia Safari does not visit Etosha’s Namutoni Camp as it is closed to non-resident visitors or available for a very high daily fee, which is not included in the cost of this safari. There is no need to bring sleeping bags or bath towels, but swimwear and pool towels are essential, particularly during the summer months.
About Etosha National Park
Etosha National Park, located in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia, is one of the best game reserves in Africa. Covering 22,270 km², the park is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species, and even one species of fish.
The park’s unusual terrain supports a rich variety of wildlife and birds, making it a unique safari destination. Dominated by the arid Etosha Pan, which spans nearly 5,000 km², Etosha’s salt pan is an awe-inspiring sight with its wide horizons and shimmering mirages stretching into the distance. The name ‘Etosha’ means “place of dry water” or “great white place.”
Etosha National Park hosts four of Africa’s Big Five, including both the white and endangered black rhino, as well as lion, leopard, and elephant. Visitors may also spot giraffe, cheetah, zebra, and various antelope species such as springbok, black-faced impala, tsessebe, and gemsbok.
