Itinerary for this Tour

Day 1: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park – Botswana

Your Botswana Safari begins as we depart Victoria Falls and cross into northeastern Botswana, heading towards the town of Kasane. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a thrilling open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park, famous for its large elephant herds. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River, perfect for bird watching and game viewing. Watch for elephants, hippos, and a variety of wildlife as you witness a stunning African sunset.

Accommodation: Twin-share rooms with en suite bathrooms at a riverside lodge.

Day 2: Chobe National Park to Nata – Botswana

After an early breakfast, we continue our exploration of Chobe National Park, before heading south to Nata. Here, we can enjoy bird watching and spot species like Southern Yellow-billed hornbills and paradise whydahs from our lodge. We spend the night at a comfortable lodge in Nata.

Accommodation: Twin-share chalets or pre-erected tents with en-suite facilities at a lodge in Nata.

Day 3: Nata to Maun – Botswana

We depart for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. After visiting a local village, we relax at our safari camp near Maun, preparing for the adventure into the Okavango Delta the next day. You’ll have some leisure time to enjoy the pool or explore the area.

Day 4: Okavango Delta – Botswana

After an early breakfast, we travel to the heart of the Okavango Delta, where we switch to mokoro canoes to glide through the winding waterways of this UNESCO-listed ecosystem. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a nature walk to observe the unique flora and fauna of the delta. Tonight, you’ll camp under the stars in this pristine wilderness.

Accommodation: Twin-share pre-erected tents with en-suite bathrooms in a bush camp.

Day 5: Okavango Delta to Maun – Botswana

Experience a thrilling nature walk at dawn to spot wildlife and birds before returning to Maun. Optional activities include a scenic flight over the delta or a visit to the bustling town of Maun. In the evening, relax and unwind at our lodge near Maun.

Day 6: Maun to Khama Rhino Sanctuary – Botswana

We head south towards the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where we enjoy an open vehicle game drive, searching for rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. This sanctuary is home to a wide variety of animals and plays an essential role in rhino conservation. Afterward, we head to a private nature reserve along the Limpopo River for our last night on safari.

Day 7: Limpopo River to Pretoria – South Africa

On the final day of the tour, we make our way south to South Africa, crossing the Limpopo River. Upon arrival in Pretoria, you’ll have time to explore the city’s cultural landmarks, such as the Union Buildings and the Nelson Mandela statue. The tour ends with a celebratory dinner.

Safari Pass – Local Payment:

Please note that this tour requires a Safari Pass, which includes most of the tour highlights and activities. This payment can be made at the time of booking or upon arrival.

Tour Accommodation:

Accommodation is mostly in shared twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and includes camping in the Okavango Delta. Most lodges offer a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar facilities.

Tour Transport:

Transport is provided in a comfortable mini-bus or microbus, with game drives in 4×4 vehicles and mokoro canoes in the Okavango Delta.

Optional Extras and Excursions:

Optional activities include helicopter flights over Victoria Falls, scenic flights over the Okavango Delta, and game drives in Chobe National Park.

Child Policy:
