8 Day Uganda Gorilla Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Masindi / Murchison Falls National Park
Your Uganda Gorilla Safari begins in Kampala. We travel northwest to the famous Murchison Falls National Park, known for its powerful waterfalls and rich wildlife. En route, pass through lush farmland and forests. After settling in Masindi, enjoy an optional guided walk to see White Rhinos at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest & Nile Boat Cruise
Head into Budongo Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Later, cruise along the Nile River in Murchison Falls National Park, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife.

Day 4: Lake Kikorongo to Lake Bunyonyi

Days 5 & 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Experience the highlight of your Uganda Gorilla Safari with a guided trek to see the endangered African Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Forest. When not trekking, you can enjoy optional activities such as canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi, visiting a Pygmy village, or a day tour to Rwanda.

Day 8: Lake Mburo to Kampala
Conclude your incredible Uganda Gorilla Safari with a journey back to Kampala, crossing the equator once more before arrival in the early evening.

Important Information
It is recommended to arrive in Kampala a day before the safari begins and to book flights a day after the tour ends. Pre- and post-tour accommodations can be added to your booking.

Child Policy
Children aged 12 years and above are welcome. The minimum age for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking is 16 years. A maximum of four children aged 12-15 can join each scheduled departure.
