Begin your Zambia Safari with four nights on the banks of the Zambezi River, where you’ll enjoy game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, boat cruises, and fishing. Then, fly to South Luangwa for four nights at a riverside tented camp offering expert-guided walking safaris and 4×4 game drives in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich reserves.

Day 1: Arrive in Lusaka – Fly to Lower Zambezi National Park

Your Zambia Safari begins in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital. A team member will assist you with your flight to the Royal Airstrip near Lower Zambezi National Park. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to a luxury safari camp overlooking the Zambezi River.

About the Lower Zambezi Safari Camp

This colonial-style safari lodge offers nine private suites with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and scenic river views. Enjoy elegant lounge areas, indoor and outdoor dining, a bar, and a pool. Activities include sundowners, bush dining, and gin tastings by the river.

Days 2–4: Explore Lower Zambezi National Park

Spend three full days exploring Lower Zambezi National Park and the Zambezi River. Activities include:

4×4 game drives and night drives
Walking safaris and canoeing
Boat cruises and catch-and-release fishing
Cultural visits to nearby villages

All meals, drinks, and two safari activities per day are included during your stay at this riverside safari lodge.

Day 5: Fly to South Luangwa – Luangwa River Safari Camp

After breakfast, fly to Mfuwe in South Luangwa Valley. Upon arrival, transfer to a riverside safari camp just outside South Luangwa National Park. If arriving early, enjoy lunch and your first afternoon game drive. The evening game drive extends into the night for a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife like leopards, civets, and hyenas.

About the South Luangwa Safari Camp

Stay in walk-in luxury safari tents with private verandas, mosquito-netted windows, en-suite bathrooms, and river views. The camp features two pools, indoor/outdoor dining, a library, and a lounge. It’s ideally situated for watching wildlife on the Luangwa River’s banks.

Days 6–8: Discover South Luangwa National Park

Wake up early for morning game drives or walking safaris in South Luangwa. This part of your Zambia Safari is ideal for spotting elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and diverse birdlife. After brunch and downtime, you may visit local conservation projects or artisan markets before your afternoon safari activity.

Top your days off with sundowners in the bush before returning to camp for a relaxing evening in nature.
