Our 4 days Luxury Uganda Fishing Safari starts and ends in Kampala/ Entebbe. This 4 days and 3 nights spot fishing adventure takes you to Murchison falls National Park one of the of the biggest National Park and top-notch destination for designed spot fishing lovers with big catch as well as a mixture of Uganda wildlife safari experience.
Murchison falls national park is Uganda’s most visited National Park renowned for its scenic beauty, spectacular River Nil and the powerful waters of the Murchison falls. The park is a home to abundant Wildlife species including the largest population of the Rothchild’s giraffes, lions, Leopards, elephants, Buffalos, Uganda Kobs, Hartebeest, Nile crocodiles, Hippos, water bucks and 450 bird species including the Iconic Shoebills.
This 4 days Luxury Uganda fishing Safari comprises of 2 days of fishing experience, as well as 2 game drives, hike to the top of the Murchison falls, and visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will be able to do Rhino tracking on foot.

4 Days Fishing In Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary: Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park and do afternoon game drive

You will have your breakfast at the lodge, thereafter, the driver guide will pick you up by 6:30am, he will brief you about the safari as your 311km (5-6hours) drive to North western Uganda to Murchison falls national park. The drive takes you via the Luwero triangle passing through impressive rural landscape of Uganda covered by green lush, scattered human settlements, towns and small road side markets where you will see the locals going about their daily activities.
Driving through the famous equator crossing where you will have a brief over for photoshoot and experiment standing in two hemispheres at the same time. Embark on the journey arriving in Masindi town where you will have your lunch and continue to the park. On arrival, you will check in to the lodge and after proceed with the afternoon game drive to see some of the animals in the park. This time offers best viewing experience when the sun has cooled and the animals are out crazing and the predators are hunting their last meal of the day. Later evening, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Whole day fishing experience at Nile River in Muchison falls National Park

After breakfast, set off to the Nile River where you will embark on a full day fishing experience, enjoy guided fishing excursions on the Nile River, known for its abundant Nile perch, catfish, and tigerfish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a novice, fishing in the Nile is an unforgettable experience.
While on this experience, you will have the best boats and in company of an expert fish guides that will be with you all day while on this exciting experience. After the first excursion, you retrieve for lunch in Paraa Safari lodge and then return back to the Nile in the afternoon to continue with the fishing and in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Second day of fishing and afternoon hike to the top of the falls

After morning breakfast, you will go on another day of fishing experience. You will be picked up by the driver guide and today’s excursion, you will target the powerful Nile perch. It’s quite challenging but an exciting experience, the past anglers have had incredible catches of the Nile Perch weighing up to 113kg and you too can make it. You will have lunch and thereafter, proceed for s visit to the top of the falls, the Murchison falls which is one of the powerful waterfalls in the world. You will witness the Nile waters dropping from the 45m high water falls exploding violently through the narrow 7-meter gorge and dropping down with a thunderous roar. The Mear sight of these waters is captivating and exciting to watch. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Departure with enroute Rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Rise up early have morning breakfast and set out to the park by the break of dawn for morning game drive in the Northern sector best time to catch with the risers and predators hunting for prey. Here you will encounter variety of animal species grazing on the savannah grass land animals spotted here include; the Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, Hippos, you may also see lions, leopards, Several bird species. After you will exit the park and drive to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
On arrival proceed to the headquarters where you will go Rhino tracking on foot. This takes about 2 hours where you will encounter the white Rhinos, this is the only place harboring Rhinos after they went extinct due to rampant poaching. Exit the Sanctuary and continue with the journey to Kampala. You will have lunch enroute arriving in Kampala late afternoon, where the guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your departure flight or at your preferred drop of point. Marking the end of the 4 days luxury Uganda fishing safari.
