Dry Season – May to September
This time of year may be drier, yet the skies can unleash a downpour at any moment. The air is refreshingly crisp, and the moisture in the atmosphere has diminished. This is the most delightful time of the year, yet the southeast monsoon can unleash powerful winds across the ocean.
May – The temperatures begin to drop a bit, and the rain starts to lessen.
June, July, and August – These months bring a refreshing vibe, with less likelihood of rain. The typical afternoon temperature hovers around 29°C/84°F.
September – The warmth begins to rise once more, bringing with it the possibility of refreshing showers.
Rainy Season–October to April
From November to April, expect plenty of rain, with the heaviest downpours occurring from mid-December to the end of January. March and April bring the peak of humidity.
October & November – During these months, expect a splash of rain and a rise in humidity.
December, January & February – The air is thick with warmth and moisture. Intense downpours and wild storms frequently occur.
March & April – These months bring intense heat, and the humidity can be quite challenging to endure. The afternoon temperature hovers around 31°C/88°F, with a slight decrease in rainfall.
