By Air
The quickest way to reach Bwindi from Uganda’s capital, Kampala, is by taking a domestic flight.
- Fly to Kisoro or Kihihi Airport: These are the closest airstrips to Bwindi and are located in southwestern Uganda. Flights can be booked through domestic carriers such as Eagle Air or Fly Uganda or Aerolink.
- Kisoro Airport (KIS): Located near the southern part of the park.
- Kihihi Airport (KIH): Located to the north of the park.
- Flight Duration: The flight takes about 1 hour from Entebbe International Airport (EBB) to Kisoro or Kihihi.
