Days 1-2: Discover Zambia and the Victoria Falls | 2 Nights
Your journey commences upon arrival at Livingstone Airport in Zambia, when a representative from Sussi & Chuma Lodge will greet and welcome you. A brief road trip will transport you to the lodge’s picturesque location along the banks of the formidable Zambezi River, which will serve as your base for the subsequent two nights. The afternoon is yours to utilize as you like – relax and absorb panoramic vistas of the river from your exclusive elevated ‘treehouse’, follow rhinos on foot, or partake in your inaugural afternoon game drive.
Following a rejuvenating night, anticipate a day filled with exhilarating activities included in your stay: embark on a tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, partake in canoeing, or relish a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi. The lodge provides walking safaris and wildlife drives in Mosi-oa Tunya National Park, as well as cultural visits to the nearby school and hamlet.

Conclude your time in Zambia with a final breakfast followed by an early morning wildlife drive. It is now time to across the Kazangula border into Botswana, transferring over the river at a location referred to as ‘Four Countries,’ where the frontiers of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia converge. A guide will accompany you through customs to facilitate a seamless passage. Upon completion of the trip, you will reach Chobe Chilwero Lodge, situated on a hilltop with a view of the Chobe River and its floodplains.
Chobe National Park is the second largest wilderness reserve in the nation, renowned for its estimated population of 80,000 elephants. Following lunch, and possibly a brief high tea, the planned afternoon safari activity typically consists of a romantic boat on the Chobe River, where one may observe families of elephants crossing, with the matriarch assessing the water’s depth while the calves remain protected in the center of the group.
Upon returning to the lodge after a magnificent sunset, a lavish dinner will be prepared for you. The subsequent day focuses on monitoring huge wildlife, including lions, hippos, crocodiles, and substantial herds of elephants and buffalo, either during game drives or river cruises. Chobe Chilwero features a comprehensive spa facility, reputed to be the finest in the nation.

Days 5-6: Entering the Okavango Delta | 2 Nights
Today marks the commencement of your exhilarating expedition into the Okavango Delta. A brief transfer to Kasane Airport precedes a flight on a light aircraft to Stanley’s Airstrip. The flight is picturesque, followed by a brief car transfer to Stanley’s Camp.
Your subsequent two nights will be in opulent tented suites, and you will enjoy a highly exclusive safari experience within 260,000 acres of private wilderness. The camp hosts a maximum of 16 people simultaneously and provides tranquil mekoro excursions (contingent on water levels), intimate bush meals, guided nature walks, game drives, and the unique chance to partake in night drives.
A highly recommended optional experience is the opportunity to interact closely with three semi-habituated orphaned elephants, walking beside them and feeding them.
