3 Day Uganda Camping Safari Murchison Falls: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Early enough after your breakfast meal you will be picked from your place of stay in Kampala.Following will be embarking on the journey to Murchison falls which will take you about five good hours of driving through impressive flat landscapes along the way you will drive to the Ziiwa rhino sanctuary located in Nakasongola district you will have a rewarding encounter while insight of one of the big five after which you will continue to Murchison with lunch en-route, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight camping

Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Launch Cruise On The Falls

Wake up early in the morning, eat breakfast, and then head for a game drive in the Northern Bank.Have views of giraffes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, water bucks, vervet monkeys, Olive Baboons, Patas monkey, Jackson’s Hartebeest, lions among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. in the afternoon head for a Nile launch cruise departing at 2pm which  avails you a great opportunity to view hippos, crocodiles, birds at the river banks such as the kingfisher, the rare shoe bill stork, cormorants. There after back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 3: Visit the Top Of The Falls and back Kampala

with early morning breakfast you will head for ferry crossing to the southern section of the park and then head to the top most of the falls and watch as the water drops down through thenarrow gorge gracefully .this impressive encounter will leave you stunned and with great memories.Thereafter be back on the journey to head to Kampala with views of the known river kafu along the way and lunch meal en-route.

Getting There
