This safari brings you exploration of three of the many parks in Uganda where you will do the Bigodi swamp walk, trek the chimpanzees in kibale plus those in kayambura gorge of Queen Elizabeth national park, you will also do the activity that is most yarned for ,trekking of the intelligent creature the rare mountain gorillas.

3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park

In assumption that you arrive at the airport early enough ,you will be welcomed and picked up by our driver guide who will hand you your itinery as he explains a few things to you .you will then head to fort portal town where you will have lunch and a mini cultural tour that will include a visit to Toro kingdom, there after you will head straight to kibale forest national park to check in at Ndali lodge you can freshen up and head for a mini swim before you head for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

Have breakfast and head to the park information center where you trekking activity will strut with a short briefing and then head for the search that will take you some good time to find the apes, you may bump into them and watch as they feed play and relate with each other portraying the very characteristics of humans, in that very forest you will view some other few primates inclusive of some bird species. On completion of the chimp trek you will head back to hotel for freshening up then have your lunch meal be ready to go for the Bigodi swamp walk which supports a variety of wildlife including animals, butterflies plants and and awide range of bird species inclusive of which you find the uncommon Papyrus Gonolek, the Great Blue Turaco plus various others. Return to the Ndali lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park

On day three you will have breakfast then leave for Queen Elizabeth that has various sectors and all of which have great attractions. Drive straight to the park and take on a game drive before you settle in you will see the various flora and fauna as you pass through the park. On arrival at either Mweya safari lodge or jacana safari lodge. You will be welcomed then check in and have your lunch meal. Late afternoon you could take a swim in the pool as you relax your body for tomorrows trekking, have dinner and sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking In Kyambura Gorge

At present day you will have breakfast and then transfer to the Kyambura Gorge which has exceptional beauty and is the section of the park where you can trek the cousins to humans and brothers to gorillas. You take quite a time in the gorge and after you have found and interacted with the chimps, you will then head back eat your lunch meal and then in the afternoon head for your concluding activity which will be a boat cruise along kazinga channel that tends to connect the two lakes Edward and George. During this activity there is various aquatic game to view like the hippos and others. When you are done head back to lodge freshen up and then dinner and sleep.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Having had your morning meal ,transfer to the popular Bwindi impenetrable national park that harbors half of the remaining rare mountain gorillsa.you will drive through the Ishasha sector as you see more game like the stunning tree climbing lions. You will then have your lunch meal, check into your room for the days’ rest, there after head for a community visit in the evening it could be the Batwa people, get to know some history of their character. Then head back to the lodge either Bwindi lodge or engage lodge for dinner and a nights rest.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and Local Community Tour

Be early enough eat you breakfast and please don’t forget you packed lunch meal since you will have a long time in the forest to trek the amaizing,intelligent mountain gorillas while in the misty forest you will hear sound of the while in the forest. This gorilla trekking may seem strenuous but on seeing the gorillas and the way they act you will feel the activity worthwhile. Take as many pictures as you can to keep the exceptional memory. You will see some birds and butterflies. After the activity head back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation at Forest Camp, Bwindi Lodge or Engagi Lodge.

Day 7: Depart for Kampala

Pack up your belongings after an early breakfast, you will drive back to the capital Kampala because this being the last day of your safari you will eat breakfast and head for Kampala. Along the way you will see the great landscape, the riling hills in the west and the various crops that the locals grow. Stop over for your lunch meal and then head straight to the city reaching in the late evening you will either drive to  a hotel of your booking or be dropped at the airport to be on the next international flight back home.

Getting There

The trip will start from Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale National Park to Bigodi Swamp to Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kyambura Gorge to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe international airport after the trip.
