Bwindi Lodge In Buhoma

Bwindi Lodge is located in the Buhoma sector, in the northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and it is one of the best lodges around the park. The lodge’s cottages are mainly referred to as Bandas, and so this lodge has eight discrete Bandas of which six of them are doubles and the two are twins, together with the main lodge itself hence creating enough space in which you can stay with your friends and family. The Bandas are made out of timber and are plastered with glass fronts and thatch roofs as well hence reflecting the local African building style. Each Banda was named after particular gorillas in Buhoma and in each separate Banda, there are poster beds with fantastic furniture made out of local wooden materials, a flush toilet and En-suite shower rooms from where you will enjoy either a hot or a cold shower to refresh your body just after a long day adventure in the National Park. Every Banda has a furnished balcony where you can sit and enjoy the early morning mist all over the forest, and in the evening just after you have returned from your gorilla trek, you can still relax at the very verandah as you enjoy a soft refreshing drink while meditating of the wonderful adventure that you’ve had while in the forest.

The lodge itself has a main living area with a central fireplace that will give you great warmth as you gather and sit in a group to share the great experiences that you will have had while in the ancient Impenetrable forest of Bwindi. This lodge also has a wonderful lounge designed with beautiful African artefacts and a dining area from where you are served the delicious meals hence making you feel really at home. The lodge is accompanied with a beautiful courtyard with comfortable sits where you can settle and enjoy the attractive view of the impenetrable forest as you spot out various colorful bird species on the tree branches and as they fly up in the air while they sing sweet melodies. You will also be able to spot out some of the wildlife such as the monkeys. Generally, the lodge area is just covered with the mysterious ancient Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi.
