This is a six luxurious roomed lodge situated in the truly dramatic natural setting at the heart of an Amphitheatre formed by eroded volcano cones. Bisate lodge has got all its rooms ensuite with bathrooms, water, and toilets inside. It has also got verandas which provide beautiful stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The lodge has got well trained staff and a restaurant which provides all the types of meals depending on the choice of the clients and what they ordered for. It has also got a bar which has got all the types of drinks that a client may want.

Wilderness Bisate was the first lodge in Rwanda to combine exceptional luxury travel with unforgettable gorilla trekking adventures. Bisate joined forces with the local community to rejuvenate a remarkable site adjacent to the Volcanos National Park. Since its beginning, two indigenous tree nurseries have been created, and more than 2,000 trees have been planted. The location boasts breathtaking vistas of the Bisoke and Karisimbi volcanoes towering over the park’s lush Afro-alpine forests, while the lodge embodies the essence of rural Rwandan culture in its design.

Wilderness Bisate is dedicated to sustainable eco-tourism and the preservation of Rwanda’s remarkable natural treasures. The Volcanoes National Park is situated along the western branch of the East African Rift, a remarkable biodiversity hotspot on the continent, boasting over 60 unique bird and mammal species that cannot be found anywhere else on the planet. The mountain gorilla stands out as the most renowned and cherished species, offering you the chance to meet one of the 10 habituated family groups within the park.

Woodland Retreat
The lodge will accommodate only 12 guests in six expansive suites, each offering stunning vistas of the forest and the far-off summits of Volcanoes National Park.
