It’s located in Nakasongola district; besides the Rhinos, you will also find a wide variety of bird species and other wildlife. The sanctuary was created with the aim of restoring the Rhino that went extinct due to rampant poaching. The conservation efforts are aimed at restoring the Rhinos so that they can be re-established in the national parks where they first belonged.

It also acts as education center for visitors and local communities about the remarkable species and the importance of conserving the fragile forest habitat.

While here you can spend the day zoo keeping, you can engage in various activities like feeding of the chimpanzees, cleaning, treating the sick ones, among other daily activities.

Uganda wildlife education Centre

Uganda wildlife Education Centre is located in Entebbe offshores of Lake Victoria, the education center has provided shelter and also helped in conservation of animals, primates, birds, snakes, tree species among others. Education center promotes learning where you learn more about the different animal’s species, bird species, trees, plants and the primates like the chimpanzee, baboon and the monkeys are also found here. You can also book a permit and spend the day with these animals from which you will engage in various activities like feeding animals, cleaning and treating the sick animals among other activities.
