3 Day Etosha Budget Lodge Safari
Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park – Namibia
The 3-day Etosha Budget Lodge Safari commences in Windhoek at 07:00, proceeding to the renowned Etosha National Park in northwestern Namibia.
Our selection of camp is contingent upon the animals’ movements and availability; nonetheless, we will reside for two nights at either Okaukuejo, Halali, or Namutoni camp. The Etosha campgrounds include dining establishments, essential retail outlets, and swimming facilities. The sites in Etosha feature illuminated waterholes, facilitating round-the-clock wildlife observation. In the arid winter season, elephants and black rhinoceroses frequently visit the waterholes, along with various other wildlife, including leopards and lions.
Etosha National Park is renowned for its huge salt pan, a 5,000 square kilometer depression that transforms into an oasis during the rainy season, drawing numerous wildlife and avian species, including thousands of flamingos. In the dry season, the barren salt pan serves as a silver-white canvas of glimmering mirages. Etosha National Park derives its name from this arid lake bed, signifying ‘great white region of dry water’. Etosha hosts 340 avian species and more than 100 mammalian species, including the endangered cheetah and black rhinoceros, as well as the black-faced impala, tsessebe, roan antelope, and gemsbok.

Large mammals frequently observed include elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, various antelopes, and predators like as lions and cheetahs.
In the midday heat, we repose in our rest camp, refreshing ourselves in the pool or observing wildlife at the waterhole.
The meal is taken at the camp’s restaurant (at personal expense).
