Daytime Safari Itinerary – Unique Serengeti Safari and Zanzibar Honeymoon (10 Days)
Day 1 – 2: In Arusha Welcome upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, followed by a transfer to your exclusive hotel in Arusha. Experience a peaceful overnight stay in your cozy lodging in or just outside of Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania, before your exciting journey kicks off in the morning.
Four nights in the heart of the Central Serengeti. The Serengeti stands as one of the globe’s most renowned National Parks, where each year, the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Migration unfolds. Over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra traverse the landscape, journeying to and from the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of lush grass. This remarkable park is also home to a stunning array of wildlife that thrives throughout the year. Covering an area of 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles), comparable to Connecticut, its name comes from the Maasai word meaning ‘the place where the land runs on forever,’ perfectly capturing the essence of its sweeping savannah plains that extend endlessly to the horizon. Adorned with umbrella acacia and baobabs, roaming giraffes, napping lion prides, lumbering elephant herds, and cheetahs surveying from atop termite mounds, it embodies the essence of the East African landscape.
Zanzibar invites you to unwind on its palm-fringed beaches and soft, white sands, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here, in this enchanting Indian Ocean paradise, time seems to drift away, allowing you to embrace the soothing East African rhythm. Undoubtedly, its greatest charm lies in the breathtaking beauty of its desert island landscapes – soft white sands bordered by lush green palms, gnarled mangroves, and crystal-clear turquoise waters teeming with vibrant coral reefs. Yet, there’s so much more beneath its charming surface. The air carries the warm aromas of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, cultivated in this vibrant land. With a rich tapestry of cultural heritage woven by Arabian settlers and spice traders from India and Indonesia, Zanzibar stands as a remarkable crossroads of global cultures and trade.
