Serengeti hot air balloon experience The cost for the 2024 – 2025 season in Serengeti ranges from $600 to $799 per person, influenced by the camp or lodge you choose for your adventure. In specific situations, minors aged 7 to 16 can qualify for child rates. Kids younger than seven are not allowed.
Adventurers should arrive at their designated Lodge or Camp reception desks between 4:00 and 5:00:15 a.m., based on how close they are to the take-off site. The flight usually departs between 6:00 and 6:15 a.m.; you will be collected for an exciting road transfer to the departure site. As you soar through the skies, you will glide over the vibrant and varied landscapes of the Serengeti. About an hour after landing, guests are treated to a delightful sit-down breakfast with attentive wait staff, featuring a full hot meal “in the bush,” complemented by chilled sparkling wine or champagne. Following breakfast, you will embark on a journey back to your hotel, featuring a short game drive along the way.

Arranging the Serengeti Balloon flight safari: Kindly let us know your preferred date for the balloon flight, ensuring it is scheduled no earlier than the second day of your Serengeti adventure. We need to find out your accommodation in Serengeti the night before your balloon flight so we can assess the possibility of a transfer to the nearest take-off site. While it is not something that happens often, there is a chance that the balloon might not launch because of challenging weather, like fierce winds or pouring rain. If a balloon fails to launch, passengers will be issued a complete refund, minus a small administration fee.
