Days 1 – 3: Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar Island – Tanzania
Your African camping safari starts in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city. We depart from Dar es Salaam in the morning with the tour guide briefing you on the ferry to Zanzibar Island, known as the Spice Island. The Zanzibar Archipelago consists of lush tropical islands, and you will explore Zanzibar Island, with its white sand beaches, exotic spices, and rich cultural heritage. Spend three nights here, free to enjoy activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, visiting Stone Town, and more. Explore the local markets, visit mosques, and sample fresh seafood.
Please Note: Basic tourist-class accommodation on Zanzibar is included, but meals other than breakfast are not, offering flexibility for your activities.

Travel: Day 1: 20 km ferry, 5-6 hours (including ferry & stops), Day 2: 65 km, 1-2 hours (excluding stops)
Days 4 – 6: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park & Iringa – Tanzania
On Day 4, we return to Dar es Salaam and continue the journey south, passing through Mikumi National Park, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Optional game drives are available. We will spend Day 6 in the Southern Highlands, at Kisolanza Farm in Iringa, a peaceful and scenic location at 1600 meters above sea level.

Travel: Day 4: 85 km & Zanzibar ferry, 4-5 hours; Day 5: 330 km, 8-9 hours; Day 6: 250 km, 5-6 hours
Days 7 – 8: Iringa to Mbeya Region (Tanzania) and Chitimba Beach – Malawi
On Day 7, we travel to the Mbeya Region and stay at Utengule Coffee Lodge, where you can enjoy stunning views and explore the coffee plantation. On Day 8, we head to the scenic Lake Malawi, where you’ll enjoy golden sand beaches, warm waters, and picturesque surroundings at Chitimba Beach. Lake Malawi is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Africa, known for its endemic fish species and vibrant local life.

Days 9 – 10: Chitimba Beach to Nkhotakota Region (Lake Malawi) – Malawi
We leave Chitimba and head to Nkhotakota, where you’ll have the chance to relax by Lake Malawi or enjoy activities like kayaking, snorkelling, hiking, or exploring nearby villages. Nkhotakota is a tranquil area on the shores of Lake Malawi, ideal for unwinding in a beautiful natural setting.

Travel: Day 9: 300 km, 6-7 hours
Day 11: Nkhotakota Region (Lake Malawi) to Petauke – Zambia
Leaving Lake Malawi behind, we cross into Zambia, heading towards Petauke in the Eastern Province. This rural region is known for its agricultural production, and we’ll camp in the area overnight.

Day 12: Petauke to Lusaka – Zambia
On Day 12, we drive to Lusaka, Zambia’s bustling capital, before heading to a peaceful rural campsite just outside the city.

Days 13 – 16: Lusaka to Livingstone & Victoria Falls – Zambia
Next, we head to Livingstone, located near Victoria Falls, one of the most famous natural wonders in the world. We’ll camp on the banks of the Zambezi River and have four days to explore Victoria Falls, enjoy optional adventure activities like white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and river cruises, or simply relax and take in the breathtaking views.

Day 17: Livingstone to Matobo National Park – Zimbabwe
After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Zambezi Valley into Zimbabwe and head to Matobo National Park, known for its rhino population and unique granite formations. We’ll camp in the park for an overnight stay.

Day 18: Matobo National Park – Zimbabwe
Today, enjoy a half-day game drive in search of rhinos, giraffes, and other wildlife. You can also visit the San rock paintings or the burial site of Cecil Rhodes. The park is also known for its high concentration of black eagles and leopards.

Days 19 – 20: Matobo National Park to Kruger National Park – South Africa

With three full days in Kruger, you’ll experience thrilling game drives, seeing everything from lions and elephants to leopards and rhinos. Kruger is known for its excellent wildlife viewing and diverse landscapes, so this part of the journey is a highlight for nature lovers.

Here, you can enjoy an optional city tour, shop for souvenirs, or relax before your flight home. Your tour concludes with fond memories of the wildlife, culture, and landscapes you’ve encountered on this unforgettable African journey.
